Sebra has relaunched THE classic Scandinavian children's bed 'Juno' by Viggo Einfeldt and is now calling it simply: Sebra Bed - the bed that grows with the child. Can they do that? Yes, Sebra has acquired the exclusive rights to the children's and junior bed.

Typical of the Sebra Bed are the rounded shape of the head and footboard, as well as the characteristic struts. It grows with your child from babyhood to childhood, and through its curved design, imparts a cozy feeling of security.

A bed that is timeless, simple, and safe is what Viggo Einfeldt set out to create in 1942. He succeeded to an extent he probably could not have imagined, for the bed is now part of Danish cultural heritage and is considered a genuine design icon, in which generations of children have slept and grown.  

To adapt the safety and functionality aspects of the children's bed to today's requirements, slight modifications have been made to the original design with great care.  Thus, the Sebra Bed now naturally complies with the European safety standard DS/EN 716 for children's beds. In addition, the bed is slightly larger than the original and the bottom can be adjusted in height.

To best protect your child's health, the Sebra Bed is painted with environmentally friendly water-based wood paint. 

By purchasing this bed, you are helping to conserve nature and the environment, and thus contribute to protecting the climate for future generations. The wood used to produce the bed comes mostly from certified forests without the use of ozone-depleting substances, and therefore carries the FSC certificate (license number C160110). 

So that you can better imagine how the Sebra bed can grow with your child, we explain to you the 4 beds in one:
Baby bed 1: Due to the smaller footprint and rounded shape, even infants feel comfortable and secure in this bed. To save your back, the base can be attached at a comfortably elevated position - until your baby can sit up on their own.

Baby bed 2: When your baby can sit up independently, the base can be lowered all the way for safety.

Toddler bed: The moment has come and your toddler wants to get out of bed on their own - now, the Sebra bed offers the nice option of removing one or both of the railing sides. Since the mattress is lower than the railing, it automatically serves as a guard against falling out of bed. Practical, isn't it?

Junior bed: When your child no longer fits in the toddler bed, it can easily be converted into a junior bed. You can optionally order the original two-part mattress as an accessory. The Sebra bed also looks fabulous as a junior bed and is a great eye-catcher in the children's room.
