Canopy for the baby's cot 

The sky symbolises security, protection and peace. It hovers over the baby's cot and protects her baby. The external effect is incredibly tender and beautiful. And so the image of a baby cot is for us inevitably associated with a sky.
But the sky in the nursery also has a great effect as a textile furnishing. Hardly any textile of the baby equipment symbolises protection and security as much as a canopy for the baby beds. The canopy encloses the cot with an almost invisible cover and thus closes the space around the cot.
It creates a small and cosy cave in which your baby but also you feel safe. The view of the baby bed with the sky reflects this feeling.
The fabrics used are light, airy and permeable. So there is also a magic of lightness about the whole thing. But air and temperature balance are also guaranteed.
Many manufacturers also offer matching baby textiles for their canopies. The canopy, the baby bedding and the nest thus form a pretty unit that makes the cot look even cosier.

Possibilities of attachment

Basically, there are three ways of attaching the canopy to the cot.

The canopy itself is pulled onto a fixed rod, which gives the canopy the necessary stability and provides the necessary radius around the bed. there are then two attachment options for this rod.

On the one hand, there are ready-made "brackets" that can be attached to the head of the cot. These devices then have an opening through which the rod is passed and then fixed. The canopy is then always inseparably connected to the baby cot and forms a unit with it.

On the other hand, there are also separate stands with feet for the canopies. These stand on the floor and are therefore independent of the cot. They are easy to move and thus always remain flexible.

But also the classic - attachment to the ceiling - is possible with some canopies.
