The essence of upholstered beds

The cots are characterised by the fact that the surfaces are upholstered and covered with fabric. There are no limits to the choice of fabrics.

This makes the respective bed appear larger and, above all, softer. Clear edges become blurred and the appearance becomes very graceful.

By the type of fabric and the processing of the "cover", the toddler bed is also significantly designed.

Smooth surface of the fabric, or perhaps a rather natural-looking rough surface? Linen-like structures, or perhaps more of a leather look?

Design options with an upholstered bed

The colour of the fabric has a decisive influence on the bed. 

You can follow two very basic design principles.

1. You blend the bed into the design of the room. This means that the type of fabric and, above all, the choice of its colour are embedded in the textile concept of the children's room.

Cot bed and other textiles form a harmonious unit. This possibility is a great advantage with upholstered beds.

2. But the opposite design idea is also very appealing. If the shape of the bed has already created a unique selling point, you can take this even further to the extreme and make the toddler bed a real one-off within the children's room design.
