Curtains children's room

Beautiful curtains in the nursery

Here we present our nursery curtains. They are practical because they help to darken the room. In addition, they can also play a supporting role in the design and furnishing of your child's room. Because the surface is very large and therefore very present.
Whether by colour, pattern or motif, curtains play a major role in shaping the children's room. And they help to make the room appear cosy and warm.

Curtains open - curtain up

- and of course closed again if you want. Curtains are usually a little underestimated. Because they don't just exist to darken rooms or make them opaque. They are an essential part of every interior - not only in the children's room.

Creating atmosphere with curtains
Do you know the feeling of emptiness and bleakness when the fabric at the window is missing? I am assuming that you know this feeling and have the non-existent curtain in front of your eyes. At the latest when you think of the last time you moved in. The rooms seem empty, cold and also hollow in a way.

What a difference when the window is then flanked by curtains.
All of a sudden the whole room seems atmospheric and smooth. Curtains not only flatter your sensibilities but the entire room.

Indispensable
That's exactly why curtains are indispensable if you want to feel comfortable. And that's why they are such a beautiful addition - even if you're open.
Then there are the little design details that make your curtain look so individual.

After all, at my university, that was worth its own subject in interior design.
The way they're attached, bows, sewing style, rods, rings and ribbons. There is so much to make your curtain happy.

Fix and ready even as a curtain
Well - actually, we have a huge selection of children's fabrics, each waiting to be sewn into a curtain. then why ready-made curtains? The man is himself and the woman too, of course.

There is then one or two advantages that cannot be dismissed from the wall. For one thing, you save yourself a lot of work. And for another, the curtains offered here are often part of a collection. So it doesn't get any better than this if you want to combine the finished curtains with other textiles.

The spatial effect of the curtains
With the curtains you can set colour accents. Of course, there are no limits to your interior design ideas. The children's fabrics can be discreet, discreetly patterned or, of course, they can also stand out.
In particular, the curtains from Annette Frank are characterised by a noble and discreet appearance.

But you can also tell stories with curtains. Because the motifs, colours and patterns also often create a world of their own. Especially when they are part of a fabric collection and are complemented with matching wallpaper and other decorative items.

Instructions for use
The size of the curtains is based on standards. However, they are often sewn generously and have a large hem that can be used to enlarge them if necessary. In the Annette Frank curtains, for example, the loops can also be extended a little. This also allows you to conditionally adapt your curtain to the room.

This is also important because of the possible shrinkage after the first wash. Most curtains are not pre-washed and can therefore change their size or shrink by up to 3% after the first wash.

In this context, a small tip.
First wash then hang. This gives you the opportunity to adjust the new and freshly bought curtain and you are safe from surprises later.
