Baby bedding sizes

We talk about three sizes when we think of bedding for the very little ones.

The first size is a pure cover without pillow. It measures 80 x 80 cm and can be used not only in the baby cot but also in a pram or Maxi Cosi. 

The 80 x 80 cm version is then also available with a pillow. This is then 34 x 40 cm in size. As with the large sizes, these are also standardised with us. This means that the down duvets are always matching. Here we are now talking about the first actual bedding. Cover and pillow are separate. 

And last but not least, there is the bed linen size 100 x 135 cm, which comes with a pillowcase size 40 x 60 cm. In a way, this is the transition between baby and toddler. Because this size can definitely be used in a toddler bed. This depends on your self-image, your taste and, above all, your child. 

As far as the design is concerned, you are in no way restricted. Because normally all three variants are available in the same designs. So nothing stands in the way of a favourite bed linen that accompanies you through several stages of life. 

Baby bed linen brands at kinder räume

Almost all manufacturers who offer childrens bedding also have baby bed linen in their range. And so Annette Frank, Laura Ashley, Taftan and others are among our popular brands for baby bedding.
Baby bedding is generally considered to be the small size - i.e. 100 x 135 cm for the cover as well as with the matching pillowcase in the size 60 x 40 cm. Some manufacturers - such as Annette Frank - also offer covers in the size 80 x 80 cm. This corresponds to the pillow size of the large bed linen.
 
This is why our tip: if the pillow cases for the children's bed linen are also offered individually, you can use them as a cover for your baby blanket.
