Bedside tables

Nightstands in the children's room

This small piece of furniture is probably one of the most underestimated little helpers. When we think of kids' furnishings, we usually think of cots and other things - but not of the little bedside cabinets.

But once they are in the room, they are indispensable. They are too useful as small pieces of furniture for the wonderful variety of beds. And so it is hardly surprising that they are becoming increasingly popular with our manufacturers.

By the way, there is a matching children's bed for every bedside table. (Unfortunately, this is not yet the case the other way round). This is important to know because you can create a beautiful and matching ensemble of bed and bedside table. The small piece of furniture then no longer appears as an accessory, but as a fully-fledged addition when it comes to furnishing the room.

A small piece of furniture with a big benefit

A bedside table is an important piece of kids furniture for the bed. If only to ensure a stable stand for the lamp, if you don't want to use clamp lamps or can't due to a lack of fastening options.

But where to put all the small important and unimportant things? It's not just the obvious things that are good to have in and on the bedside table. Books, cuddly toys, clocks and toys are important, but by no means everything.

Because some things should also be invisible to us parents. And so it happens that the furniture also contains the secret hiding place for chocolate, the torch for reading or one or the other electronic game device.

However, this presupposes that there is also room to hide. This in turn depends on the type of construction. Because there are both completely open bedside tables and versions with a door and/or even a small drawer.

And by the way: If you are looking for beautiful lamps for the table - no problem. We have them too, of course. You can find a nice selection of lamps here: Bedside lamps
