Clothes racks for children's rooms

The classic way to store clothes is still wardrobes. An alternative to wardrobes is increasingly becoming the clothes rack. This trend has been coming from Scandinavian countries to our children's rooms for some time now.
But this concept is less about replacing the wardrobe and more about supplementing it.

Construction and design of the clothes rack
The clothes rack is naturally a very reduced piece of kids furniture. The main part of the furniture is formed by the bar, on which the clothes are then hung by means of children's clothes hangers. The clothes rail is held by 2 sides, which are also responsible for the stability. In some cases, it is complemented by a shelf in the foot area. Shoes and other items can be nicely placed here. Most clothes racks are made of wood. But metal is also used here.

Idea of a clothes rack in the children's room
As mentioned above, it is not an alternative to the wardrobe, but a supplement. We all know that chairs, floors or clothes that are already worn and/or no longer put back into the wardrobe have to be used. Sportswear, pyjamas and other items usually end up on the floor of the children's room. In this respect, the clothes rack is a nice idea to keep the children's room tidy. Clothes that are not used for a certain period of time can be stored on it.
But gym bags, school satchels and other bags also find a nice place on it. The same applies to shoes, provided they are (allowed to be) worn indoors. These then find a place on the plate or the grid in the foot area - if available.

The coat rack as a furnishing item
Besides the useful factor as a coat rack, the coat rack is also an original furnishing item. in addition to its pure function, it can also be beautifully decorated. It is not an everyday piece of furniture and gives the children's room something very special through its presence, but also appears very natural through its high use.

If space allows, it should not only be in the children's room. It is also very useful in the wardrobe area. For example, as a replacement for classic children's wardrobes or children's coat hooks.
