Children's desk

Children's desks

Children's desks symbolise a new phase of life like hardly any other kids furniture.

And they are becoming more and more important. There were times when homework was done at the kitchen table or dining table. And in the early days, this is probably still the case now and then.

Besides the ergonomic conditions, a child's desk is also a piece of furnishing furniture. It is integrated into the children's room and is therefore an equal piece of furniture. In this respect, it is nice if all the other kids furniture matches the desk. The range of desks for children is now correspondingly large.

Start of school

Desks are inseparably linked to the start of school. They are the first workplace in your child's life. And so they take up both symbolic and physical space.

And so almost all of our kids furniture manufacturers have desks in their range. Flexa, Woood, Bopita or Oliver Furniture and others.
The kids desks therefore each match the other kids furnishings in the collection.
Even though a children's desk is a workstation, it is still kids furniture and should retain this charm.
Children's desks that are too modern and only trimmed for ergonomics are and remain mostly individual pieces of furniture that are difficult to integrate into the children's room. Children's desks should also look nice and be fun.

And so almost all of our children's desks are now fully-fledged Kids furniture in the sense of combinability. And this is also an important aspect for the manufacturers. This means that the desk is no longer a foreign body in the children's room, but a component in the middle of matching kids furniture, such as wardrobe, bed or others.

With the arrival of the desk, other utensils also follow. Because a desk lamp belongs on every table. A matching roll container is also particularly practical, offering space for the necessary utensils and forming a beautiful unit with the desk.

Alternatively, a combination with Standr and Wall shelves can be very attractive and, above all, practical. The children's desk has become a full-fledged kids furniture and, besides its purpose, also a beautiful furnishing item.

kinder räume magazine

In our large kinder räume magazine, everything revolves around the design and furnishing of children's rooms. Some articles also deal with the topic of school in the broadest sense.
So there is a column that masquerades as a children's desk guide. And an article entitled "Kinderzimmer und Schulkind" (Children's rooms and schoolchildren) explores the question of how the room changes when a child starts school.
