Look for appropriate certificates such as the Oeko Tex certificate, which, however, is valid for a period of 12 months. So you should pay attention to whether a certificate is really valid.

There are differences not only in the covers, but also in the filling.  The filling of the manufacturer Robert Osswald consists of polystyrene beads. They are physiologically harmless. Products with this filling are light and can be washed at 30 degrees (gentle cycle).  

Other possible fillings are, for example, wool or down.
