Construction and Quality

Only European certified solid wood is used. No engineered wood and no plastics.
All hardware and drawer slides are equipped with damping mechanisms and conform to "Soft Close". They can be precisely and perfectly adjusted and calibrated. Additionally, they are tested for approximately 80,000 operating cycles. This corresponds to approximately 73 years of use. 

The Soft Close mechanism ensures quiet and gentle closing. And finger pinching is impossible with it. 

The drawers can be fully extended. Special devices prevent tipping. This makes them easier to access and more comfortable to stock.

No visible screws are used. Drawers and other furniture pieces are held with classic wood constructions. For example, dovetails are used for the drawers. In addition, hidden reinforcements in the corners provide additional stability to the furniture.

Environmental Protection & Sustainability
All children's furniture and baby furniture from Romina are made from European solid wood. Depending on the model, it is either oak or beech wood. The used wood is not dried using a chemical process.

Only pollutant-tested paints and varnishes are used for the surface, of course. All fabrics exceed the requirements of the "Consumer Safety Commission".

All adhesives and glues used are strictly pollutant-tested. They contain no VOCs and, of course, no formaldehyde.

All furniture is GREENGUARD GOLD certified. This means that no toxic emissions are present. This is extremely important, especially for furniture in connection with indoor spaces where children and toddlers stay.

Order and Delivery Information

The furniture will be ordered for you. The delivery time is indicated above. As soon as the furniture is on its way to you, we will inform you. It will be delivered to you by a shipping company. They will contact you by phone in advance to arrange a delivery date with you. With your consent, we will provide your phone number to the delivering shipping company. So you don't have to worry about anything.

Please note that the standard delivery only goes up to the curb. If that is not enough for you, please contact us before delivery. We can then organize delivery to the house or appropriate room for a surcharge. Of course, we will inform you of the surcharge in advance.

The furniture will be assembled and put together by you. A detailed assembly manual is included.

Color World
You can choose from a variety of colors and finishes with Romina furniture. All colors are tested for harmful substances and do not contain lead, phthalates, metals, VOCs or other chemical components that could be harmful to your child. All colors are applied through a special, multi-stage process that guarantees the highest quality and durability. Expert furniture craftsmen carefully carry out finishing techniques and correction of the sanding surface until the correct consistency and wood penetration is achieved. Water-based finishes then receive a final clear coat that seals the finished surface and provides resistance and comfort. Oil-based finishes saturate the wood and provide a protective layer while maintaining the rustic and organic feel of the wood. The multi-stage layering process eliminates the use of solvents or other artificial hardeners in the finishing solution. Water-based clear coats have superior resistance to mechanical influences, friction and environmental factors.
