Construction and Quality

Only certified European solid wood is used. No composite materials or plastics.
All fittings and drawer guides come with damping mechanisms and correspond to "Soft Close". They can be adjusted precisely and perfectly. Moreover, they have been tested for about 80,000 usage cycles, which is equivalent to a duration of approximately 73 years. 

The Soft Close mechanism ensures noiseless and gentle closing. And finger pinching becomes impossible with it.  

The drawers can be completely pulled out. Special devices prevent them from tipping, making them easier to access and convenient to load.

No visible screws are used. Drawers and other furniture parts are held with classic wood constructions, such as dovetails on the drawers. In addition, there are hidden reinforcements in the corners, which give the furniture additional stability.

Environmental Protection & Sustainability
All children's furniture from Romina consists of European solid wood. Depending on the model, it may be oak or beech. The wood used is not dried by a chemical process.

Only pollutant-tested paints and varnishes are used for the surface, which exceed the requirements of the "Consumer Safety Commission".

All adhesives and glues used are strictly pollutant-tested. They do not contain any VOCs and, of course, no formaldehyde.

All furniture is GREENGUARD GOLD certified. That means there are no toxic emissions. This is particularly important for furniture in connection with indoor spaces where children and toddlers stay.

Order and delivery information

The furniture will be ordered for you. The delivery time is indicated above. As soon as the furniture starts its journey to you, we will let you know. It will be delivered to you by a forwarding agent. They will contact you early by phone to arrange a delivery date with you. With your consent, we will provide your telephone number to the delivering forwarding agent. So you don't have to worry about anything.

Please note that standard delivery is only to the curb. If this is not enough for you, please contact us before the delivery. We can then organize delivery to the house or suitable rooms for an additional charge. Of course, we will inform you of the surcharge in advance.

You will need to assemble the furniture yourself. A detailed assembly instruction is included.

Color world
You can choose from a variety of colors and finishes with Romina furniture. All colors are tested for harmful substances and do not contain lead, phthalates, metals, VOCs or other chemical components that could be harmful to your child. All colors are applied through a special, multi-stage process. This guarantees the highest quality and durability.

Expert furniture craftsmen carefully perform finishing techniques and correction of the sanding surface until the right consistency and wood penetration is achieved. Water-based surface treatments then receive a final clear coat, which seals the finished surface and provides resistance and comfort. Oil-based surfaces saturate the wood and provide a protective layer, while retaining the rustic and organic feel of the wood.

The use of solvents or other artificial hardeners in the equipment solution is eliminated by the multi-stage layering process. Water-based clear coats have superior resistance to mechanical influences, friction, and environmental influences. Natural oxidation, aging, or color fading tend to be less significant and slower on water-based paints and hardwoods.
