Construction and Quality
Only European-certified solid wood is used. No sheet materials and no plastics.

All fittings and drawer guides are equipped with damping mechanisms and comply with "soft close." They can be precisely and perfectly adjusted and are tested for about 80 thousand operating cycles, which corresponds to approximately 73 years of use.

The soft close mechanism ensures silent and gentle closing. And finger trapping is also impossible with it. 
The drawers can be completely extended. Special devices prevent them from tilting. This makes them easier to access and comfortable to stock.

No visible screws are used. Drawers and other furniture parts are held with classical wood constructions. For example, the so-called dovetails on the drawers.

Environmental protection & sustainability
All children's furniture and baby furniture from Romina are made of European solid wood. Depending on the model, it is either oak or beech wood. The used wood is not dried through a chemical process.

Naturally, only pollutant-tested paints and varnishes are used for the surface. All fabrics exceed the requirements of the "Consumer Safety Commission".

All used adhesives and glues are strictly pollutant-tested. They contain no VOCs and, of course, no formaldehyde.

All furniture is GREENGUARD GOLD certified. This means that no toxic emissions are present. This is particularly important for furniture in connection with indoor spaces where children and toddlers stay.

Note on colors.
The furniture is available in different colors and techniques. This means that some surfaces play with "imperfection". Seemingly sanded surfaces or edges are intentional and result in the "Shabby Chick" or country style. This is therefore not a reason for complaint. Alternatively, there are of course also classically painted surfaces that are even.

Ordering and delivery information

The furniture will be ordered for you. The delivery time is indicated above. As soon as the furniture starts its journey to you, we will let you know. It will be delivered to you by a forwarding agent. They will contact you by phone early on to arrange a delivery date with you. With your consent, we will pass on your telephone number to the delivering forwarding agent. So you don't have to worry about anything.

Please note that standard delivery only goes to the curbside. If this is not sufficient for you, please contact us prior to delivery. We can then organize a delivery into the house or corresponding rooms for an additional charge, which we will of course inform you of beforehand.
The furniture will be assembled and put together by you. A detailed assembly manual is included.

You can choose from a wide range of colors and finishes with Romina furniture. All colors are tested for harmful substances and do not contain lead, phthalates, metals, VOCs, or other chemicals that could be harmful to your child. All colors are applied using a special, multi-stage process to ensure the highest quality and durability. Skilled furniture craftsmen carefully perform finishing techniques and sanding surface corrections until the right consistency and wood penetration are achieved. Water-based surface treatments are then given a final clear coat that seals the finished surface and provides resistance and comfort. Oil-based finishes saturate the wood and provide a protective layer while maintaining the rustic and organic feel of the wood. The multi-stage layering process eliminates the use of solvents or other artificial hardeners in the equipment solution. Water-based clear coats have superior resistance to mechanical impact, friction, and environmental factors. Natural oxidation, aging, or color fading is generally less significant and slower on water-based and hardwoods. Stardust: Water-based glitter effect paint.
