No engineered wood or plastics. All hardware and drawer guides are equipped with damping mechanisms and meet the "Soft Close" standard. They can be precisely adjusted and calibrated and have been tested for approximately 80,000 usage cycles, which equates to about 73 years of use. The Soft Close mechanism provides silent and gentle closing, while also making finger pinching impossible. The drawers can be completely extended, and special devices prevent tipping, making them easier to access and conveniently stock. Visible screws are not used. Drawers and other furniture pieces are held together with traditional wood joinery methods, such as dovetails on the drawers. Hidden reinforcements in the corners add additional stability to the furniture. Environmental Protection & Sustainability All Romina children's and baby furniture is made of European solid wood, typically oak or beech. The wood used is not dried through a chemical process.Only pollutant tested paints and varnishes are used for the surface. All substances exceed the requirements of the "Consumer Safety Commission".
All adhesives and glues used are strictly pollutant tested. They contain no VOCs and of course no formaldehyde.

Note on colors.
The furniture is available in different colors and techniques. This means that some surfaces play with the "imperfection". Order and delivery information

The furniture will be ordered for you. The delivery time is indicated above. As soon as the furniture is on its way to you, we will let you know. It will be delivered to you by a shipping company. They will contact you early on by phone to arrange a delivery date with you. With your permission, we will pass on your telephone number to the delivering shipping company. So you don't have to worry about anything.
Please note that standard delivery only goes as far as the curb. If that's not enough for you, please speak to us before the delivery. We can then organize delivery to the house or corresponding rooms for an additional fee. We will of course inform you of the extra charge beforehand.

You can choose from a variety of colors and finishes with Romina furniture. All colors are tested for pollutants and do not contain lead, phthalates, metals, VOCs or other chemical components that could be harmful to your child. All colors are applied through a special multi-stage process, guaranteeing the highest quality and durability. Expert furniture craftsmen carefully perform finishing techniques and correct the sanding surface until the correct consistency and wood penetration is achieved. Water-based surface treatments are then given a final clear coating that seals the finished surface and ensures resistance and comfort. Oil-based surfaces saturate the wood and provide a protective layer, while retaining the rustic and organic feel of the wood. The multi-stage layering process eliminates the use of solvents or other artificial hardeners in the equipment solution. Water-based clear coats have superior resistance to mechanical influences, friction, and environmental factors. Natural oxidation, aging, or color fading is generally less significant and slower on water-based lacquers and hardwoods. Stardust: Glitter effect water-based lacquer. The surface appears silvery and the wood grain shines through. Dove/white: Water-based, covering white with a slightly matte finish and a tiny hint of gray.
