Construction and Quality
Only European certified solid wood is used. No engineered wood or plastics.

All hardware and drawer guides feature damping mechanisms and comply with "Soft Close" standards. They can be precisely adjusted and are tested for approximately 80,000 usage cycles, equivalent to about 73 years of use. The soft-close mechanism ensures silent and gentle closing, and finger-pinch accidents are prevented. 

The drawers can be fully extended, and special devices prevent tipping, making them easily accessible and convenient to use.

No visible screws are used. Drawers and other furniture parts are held by classic wooden constructions, such as dovetail joints on the drawers. Hidden reinforcements in the corners provide additional stability.

Environmental Protection & Sustainability
All Romina's children's and baby furniture is made of European solid wood, either oak or beech depending on the model. The wood is not chemically dried.

All surface finishes are made with certified non-toxic paints and lacquers. All fabrics exceed the requirements of the "Consumer Safety Commission".

All adhesives used are strictly tested for pollutants. They contain no VOCs and of course, no formaldehyde.
All furniture is GREENGUARD GOLD certified, meaning there are no toxic emissions. This is extremely important especially for furniture used in indoor spaces where children and toddlers spend time.

Note on Colors.
The furniture is available in different colors and techniques, meaning some surfaces play with "imperfection." Apparently sandblasted surfaces or edges are intentional and create the "Shabby Chic" or country style. This is not a reason for complaint. Alternatively, there are also classically painted surfaces that are even.

Ordering and Delivery Information

The furniture will be ordered for you. The delivery time is indicated above. As soon as the furniture starts its journey to you, we will notify you. It will be delivered to you by a freight carrier. They will contact you in advance by phone to arrange a delivery date. With your consent, we will provide your phone number to the delivering carrier. So you don't have to worry about anything.
Please note that standard delivery only goes up to the curbside. If this is not sufficient, please contact us in advance of delivery. For an additional fee, we can arrange delivery into the house or corresponding room. We will of course inform you of the extra charge in advance.

The furniture must be assembled and put together by you. A detailed assembly instruction is provided.

Color scheme
You can choose from a variety of colors and finishes with Romina Furniture. All colors are tested for harmful substances and do not contain lead, phthalates, metals, VOCs or any other chemical components that could be harmful to your child. All colors are applied through a special, multi-stage process, ensuring the highest quality and durability. Expert furniture craftsmen carefully perform finishing techniques and correction of sanding surfaces until the right consistency and wood penetration are achieved. Water-based surface treatments are then given a final clear coat that seals the finished surface for durability and comfort. Oil-based finishes saturate the wood and provide a protective layer, while preserving the rustic and organic feel of the wood. The multi-stage layering process eliminates the use of solvents or other artificial hardeners in the equipment solution. Water-based clear coats have superior resistance to mechanical impact, friction and environmental influences. Natural oxidation, aging or color fading are typically less significant and slower on water-based lacquers and hardwoods. Stardust: A glitter effect lacquer with a water base. The surface appears silvery and the wood grain shines through. Dove/white: Water-based. A covering white with a slightly matte finish and a hint of gray. Distressed Grey: Water-based.
